BEYOND Workshop for East-EU - Covering: EGNSS Applications for Emergency and Security, Intelligent Transport Systems, Industry and Maritime

In this context, the BEYOND project (a Horizon2020 collaborative project funded by the European Commission through the European GNSS Agency) aims to promote the use of EGNSS in Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria and to prepare these countries for an optimal adoption of the EGNSS applications in the non-aviation domains. The BEYOND Workshop for East-EU will take place in the framework of BEYOND; it is a two-days event organized by Telespazio S.P.A in collaboration with Rartel S.A. in Bucharest on  16th and 17th of November, 2016.

During this workshop, a series of important aspects of the E-GNSS applications will be highlighted and covered:

♦ E-GNSS services in critical applications which have a critical impact on society, the most important effects being condensed around the sectors of emergency and security, search and rescue, transportation.

♦ Other E-GNSS applications, which are linked with all levels of human security in our society, covering a large array of sectors. Besides the critical area, they include any kind of transport (road, rail, maritime and multimodal), industry (oil & gas, energy production and distribution, precise agriculture), advanced technologies (timing, scientific survey, earth observation, network synchronization) and even social networking and recreation.
