MBA Master Class: Organizational Behavior & Change - Adrian Stanciu

BUCURESTI - 3 februarie 2010

Comunicat tip General in Educatie / Cultura

The subject of changing organizations is one of those who have been moved abruptly from the periphery of management thinking to the very center of it by the current economic crisis. And not just because a vast number of managers, all of a sudden and without prior preparation have been thrown in the maelstrom of downsizing, restructuring and reorganizing. This alone would have sufficed, no doubt, but what is more clear than ever is that we need a new way to run large organizations.

Our current corporate governance model is fundamentally flawed. This is a statement that needs little argument today. Corporations are notorious for short term thinking, lack of collaboration and a bias towards cutting corners. How can this happen? Is human nature to blame, is there anything we can change, and if so, what?

This presentation will take you from the fundamentals of human nature to the management models we currently use in managing organizations. We will explore the power of organizational culture as a management and strategy tool and we will understand how current organizations need to change to really fulfill their potential and mission.
