Study medicine in a young and dynamic environment: Arad  (English and French)

In the western part of the country, there is the most recent university in this list. The ‘Vasile Goldis’ Western University in Arad is very close to Timisoara. It began its activity in 1990.

It is a specific medical environment for those who study medicine in Romania. Dynamism and open-minded attitudes are among the advantages of this medical school. The university has medicine, pharmacy and dentistry schools.

Medicine is the only one with courses in both English and French. The other two are available only in Romanian.

Not so student-oriented as the former ones, Arad is the smallest and the quietest city in this list. Here you will find an interesting sports life. Famous teams represent the community in basketball, football, and rugby.

It is the closest Romanian town to Western Europe. The city has direct connections with Budapest and Wien through the motorway and train.

The cities in this list are not by far as big as Bucharest, the capital city of Romania. Despite this fact, they all have international airports.

Living costs are almost the same in each of them and are quite affordable. An international student will need around 400 euros/month to live in these cities.
