The Ministry of Wolves – show in premiera la Bucuresti!

Toamna aceasta, un grup de muzicieni celebri aduce la Bucuresti farmecul basmelor scrise de Fratii Grimm , intr-un show inedit. The Ministry of Wolves , un supergrup format din apreciatii muzicieni Alexander Hacke (Einstürzende Neubauten), Mick Harvey (co-fondator The Birthday Party si Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds), Danielle de Picciotto (Crime & The City Solution) si Paul Wallfisch (Botanica), va concerta joi, 25 septembrie, de la ora 20.00, in premiera la Bucuresti, in clubul The Silver Church (Calea Plevnei, nr. 61).

Concertul va fi inregistrat audio-video in vederea realizarii unui documentar, iar fanii celor patru artisti pot sprijini acest proiect prin intermediul Pledge Music: http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/the-ministry-of-wolves-live-in- concert

Primul album al formatiei, conceput initial ca soundtrack pentru piesa de teatru Republik der Wölfe produsa de Claudia Bauer, are la baza atat binecunoscutele povesti de Fratii Grimm cat si interpretarile conferite acestora de poeta americana Anne Sexton, castigatoare a Premiului Pulitzer pentru poezie in 1967. Opera sa Transformations a dat noi valente basmelor, prezentand 17 povesti de Fratii Grimm intr-o maniera inedita. Astfel, Frumoasa adormita, Cenusareasa, Scufita Rosie, Alba-ca-zapada si multe alte basme binecunoscute sunt transpuse in atmosfera prezentului urban. Versurile pieselor, inspirate de opera lui Anne Sexton, au fost adaptate liber de cei patru artisti, iar concertul este acompaniat de proiectiile video create de Danielle de Picciotto.

Un show in cel mai pur stil romantic, cu tonuri intunecate, sinistre, dar si cu mult umor, ce anul acesta a incantat publicul din intreaga Europa.
