Romanian haulier SC International Lazăr Company Srl, affiliated to UNTRR, has been rewarded within the prestigious competition for the award' European Transport Company of the Year 2010'.
The award ' European Transport Company of the Year 2010' has been granted on 11 February 2010 at Brussels, within a festive Gala attended by over 1200 transport operators and representatives of road transport industry and professional media from all around Europe.
The assessment criteria in the competition for ' European Transport Company of the Year 2010' were:
· Administrative and financial structure
· Customer relationship management
· Fleet management
· ICT & dispatching
· Safety & Training
· Environment .
Out of the 13 European companies registered in the competition for the ' European Transport Company of the Year 2010' award, an international jury composed of transport specialists and representatives of the professional magazines has selected, after 2 complex assessment phases (company questionnaire and interview), 3 winners:
3 rd place: International Lazar Company - Romania
2 nd place: Van Dievel - Belgium
1 st place: Trade Team - UK .
Commercial Director of International Lazăr Company, Mrs. Daniela Midvichi who was present in the rewarding ceremony , said: 'It is a honourable prize, worthy, stimulating us and showing the measure of our efforts during the 15 years of activity '.
